Nezrak tries to catch Grollk in a Glitterdust (Will DC 17) if he can do so without effecting friends, and moves closer to the Gollk-fight.

[Round 6]

Rodimus tries to trip the giant only just managing to offset the giant's balance. The giant tumbles over crashing to the ground shaking the whole compound. The swift follow up kick hits hard, but fails to stun the giant. Taking advantage of his foe on the ground, Rodimus continues to beat on him. Three hits to the head and its looking a little pulpy. The giant's eyes glaze over and it stops moving.

The thorns join up with Celerian as the nomads join the fray.

Ridik heals Gorefoot.

The goblins along the walls struggle to free themselves and a few make it but they retreat north to the cliff wall rather than engaging the party's flank.

Nars tries to flank Grollk and tumbles into position opposite Gorefoot but misses completely with his strike.

The giants and treefolk fight on, things are looking a little desperate for the treants as one of the true treants falls beneath the beatings of the giants. There is now only one treant and one animated tree fighting the two giants.

Nezrak casts Glitterdust at Grollk, who due to his size, is easy to affect without touching Nars, Gorefoot, or Ridik. In a surprising twist the demon is blinded by the glittering dust that covers it.

The nomads move in and with the thorns move to attack the giants from below. A few hit the massive juggernaughts who ignore the puny attacks.

Percy magic missiles the blinded Grollk.

The petals dont do much at all.

Gorefoot attacks and hits twice, thanks to Nars' careful position and timing. The demon is clearly bloodied from the repeated attacks.

Grollk attacks back and in his blind fury manages to bite Gorefoot, removing most of the healing that Ridik provided. He then tries to retreat backwards towards the mine entrance a step.

gah a 3 on his will save! A hugely successful round for the heroes, though Nars missed he was in the right place at the right time otherwise Gorefoot would've missed.

Percy gives a worried glance at the treants. But there's little she can do there at the moment. If the battle clears out some, she will fireball the giants, but for now, it's Grollk all the way.

"We got him on the run! Don't let him escape!" Percy peppers the demon with purple fire.

A low laugh escapes from Rodimus' throat as he fells the giant. Looking at the situation, most everybody else was already surrounding the big goblin, so Rodimus moved towards the last two giants since there were less people who might steal his kills.
Getting over, he aims a kick at one giant's side.

Ridik feels nervous, now that he has only one spell left, but as Gorefoot is taking the hits, he decide to convert Doom to healing, healing11 damages.

As the supernatural speed of Nezrak's spell expires, Nars moves to intersect Grollk and unleashes a flurry of stabs with his sword and slams with his shield.

OOC:
Step so that Gorefoot will be able to get back to flanking with a 5 foot step. Sneak attack twice with Felhunter and once with shield.
Felhunter: +10/+10, 4d6+4
Shield: +9, 1d3+2+3d6
If Grollk counts as a goblin, add +1 to all attacks. I don't have access to invisible castle at work any more. :(

Base stats for battle
HP: 18/43, AC: 23, Attacks: Felhunter +12 (1d6+3+1+3d6 sneak attack) or Felhunter and shield +10/+9 (1d6+3+1, 1d3+1+1 +3d6 sneak attack)

Rodimus moves over the rubble of the wall towards the two giants. He is able to get close enough to move into the grapple next round but had too far to move across difficult terrain this round to make it.

Ridik heals Gorefoot.

The goblins along the walls retreat in a full route.

Nars flanks Grollk and attacks after Gorefoot is in position.

The giants and treefolk fight on and again the treefolk look on the loosing side though hopefully Celerian and Rodimus will be able to help.

Nezrak fires his crossbow at Grollk but misses.

The nomads move in and with the thorns to attack the giants. Concentrating their attacks on one at a time, several sword slashes strike the one giant's legs though a back hand swipe from the giant removes one of the thorns from the battle.

Percy magic missiles Grollk again hitting. The demon is looking fairly worn now.

The petals dont do much at all beyond dance and chase fleeing goblins for fun.

Gorefoot moves back into position and attacks in tandem with Nars. The two strike deadly blows against the blinded demon. Grollk cries out a hateful curse as he falls, "In hell I shall have my way with you! I'll be waiting." His body disolves into a bubbling puddle of black ooze that sizzles as it hits the ground, small trails of smoke rise into the air.

"I am out of gift from my mistress." tells Ridik to Gorefoot and Nars, drawing his mace. "I'll be able to stabilize any fallen, no more." He then look at Nars. "We go help the treefolk?"

Nars takes a deep breath as Grollk dissolves into acid. He says quietly into his beard, "Thank Sela I'm, er, not headed for, ah, hell."

Nars nods at Ridik's direction to aid the scrum against the giants. His short legs pumping, he gets near the fray as quick as possible, but pulls up out of reach of the giants. He then ducks in and delivers a precise stab.

OOC:
Move toward the melee of giants as fast as possible, but make sure to tumble through any threatened squares once he gets close.

Base stats for battle
HP: 18/43, AC: 23 (27 vs giants), Attacks: Felhunter +10 (1d6+3+3d6 sneak attack) or Felhunter and shield +8/+7 (1d6+3, 1d3+1+3d6 sneak attack)
