[Round 2, Cont]

Nezrak fires a scorching ray at the transparent ooze. The ray slams into the creature, singing it and causing a strange smell to rise similar to burnt marshmellows. He then steps off to the side up next to the creature to let others in.

The slithering tracker turns it's pseudopod towards Nezrak and Nars and attacks with 2 tendrils at each of them. Nezrak is hit once and Nars luckily avoids contact. Nezrak is able to stave off paralyzation easily. The creature remains perched atop Ridik.

Percy delays to allow Gorefoot to move in.

Gorefoot moves through the narrow corridor having an easier time of it because of his size. Its quite crowded on the otherside preventing Percy from following up.

Rodimus starts running in the opposite direction. He makes it to the big cavern, passes the stalagmite and begins moving up the corridor to cut off the ooze creature.

[sblock=ooc]Nezrak hits, inflicting 13 dmg. He is then hit for 1 non-lethal damage and makes his fort save (with a 20!). Gorefoot can attack next round. If Nars and Gorefoot step to the side a bit (5ft step) Percy can make it through. Rodimus will make it there with one move action and wont be able to charge because of the turns in the cave.

Nars connects with Felhunter and sprays some of the creature's watery ooze against the far wall with a solid hit. His shield is just shy of the mark as the psuedopod dodges out of the way.

[sblock=Knowledge Results]What appears to be a strangely mobile pool of water is actually an unusually intelligent ooze known as a slithering tracker. Its transparent body makes it difficult to spot, and grants it a significant advantage when it needs to hide. The touch of a slithering tracker can paralyze a victim for several minutes. A slithering tracker feeds on moisture, and can draw fluids from a living body with shocking speed. It can only feed in this manner from a victim that is helpless.[/sblock]

Percy realizes she's not going to get through. At this point, though, she can't run after rodiums, because she's carrying the light source. She pokes her spear around the corner over Gorefoot's head, to shed as much light as she can. If she can squeeze through, she will.

[Round 3, Con't]

Nezrak, backed into a corner directly next to the creature draws his sword, shifts a little to his right, then stabs at it. The sword slices a piece of water which falls and splashes to the ground.

The slithering tracker extends tendrils towards the three fighting it, remaining atop Ridik. Two tendrils lash out at Nars, one connects inflicting minimal damage and Nars resists the paralyzing touch. One hits Nezrak, again for minimal damage but this time the elf goes rigid and tips over, paralyzed. One hits Gorefoot, mimicing the others it does little, the halfling is momentarily stunned but his body just manages to stave off the effects of the touch.

Percy pokes her spear in over Gorefoots head, which urges him to move to the side and let her through. She stands just beyond the narrow gap next to the creature.

Gorefoot shifts right and attacks. His greatsword neatly removes a portion of the water which falls to the ground.

Rodimus runs up behind the creature and misses. The ooze is now surrounded by everyone.

Nars slashes and bashes more water away from the ooze.

The ooze launches tendrils at each person, seemingly able to attack in four different directions at once. Percy and Nars both get hit taking minimal damage each. They both fail to stave off paralyzation and crumple to the floor.
