[sblock=Quick Summary]About 50 years ago Arga the black enacted a ritual to keep portals to the Feywild from appearing in Daunton. The portal were allowing bad things to slip through.
Over the last few years the portals have been reappearing. The Warden and his disciples have been trying to stop it, but have failed overall.
The Warden believes that Mauros knew how to renew the seal. The Warden's Master was an arcane pen pal of Mauros'. He believes that if he can find his Master's notes, he might be able to figure it out.
He needs you to accompany him to the Jade Empire so is students can keep doing the work he's established here.[/sblock]
The Warden looks strangely at Dane before speaking which causes more nervous laughter from the female dwarf, which in turn causes laughter from the young half-elf.
"You," Indicating the adventurers. "Are to come with me to the Jade Empire." He pauses. "We should leave in the morning, after your foray on the way here. Unexpected things happen in these woods at night. We'll book passage to the Isle of Opposition from Daunton. It will draw less attention than going through the Embassy."

Incarnation nods impassively. After waiting to see if the Warden had anything else, he turned to his companions and drew them away from the others a moment.

He did not create them, however. That was his master, Agras the Black. This task is vital, for all the Isle will suffer if the wards fall. And... The warforged is silent a moment. And... the more we find of Mauros, the more I may divine my creation.
After being done with the others, Incarnation wanders the camp. He inspects the warding rituals currently in place and discusses them with whomever is amenable. He keeps a wayward eye on the distrustful eladrin, however. Needing no sleep, his inspection would be for a long time.

As Incarnation wanders the camp, Hadrak walks up to him casually as soon as he gets a chance at some privacy.
-''The young dragonborn and the goblin don't like us one bit, Carn. They seemed quite upset to see us join the camp. We should keep an eye on them. Pass the word to Raiyek and Georg, I'll warn Dane and Rurdev.''
Hadrak nods in a friendly manner and walks toward Dane.

"Understood. My eyes and ears are alert," Raiyek responds to Incarnation's warning. "The eladrin took notice of me, though I don't think he bears any ill will. Most likely he simply hasn't seen another from the Imperium in some time."

The Academy of Radiant Truth is well known to the arcane, so I have also heard of you and your teacher Grand Master Estergrin in particular.
Georg turns to study the runes on the Grove with a very curious expression. When he passes by Incarnation and the warforge whispers the warning to him he mutters in reply Did the snake woman mention a dragonborn?

Dane meets up with Hadrak and is willing to talk to him in front of his other companions, but doesn't make any remarks within earshot of the Warden or his band.
[sblock=Dwarf] I don't know about them Jadinits. Every one I've met have been vile and sour. They all seem to be searching for something and it never seems to be something that is good. But if he is saying those seals hold portals that are the same as the ones we had to close in the sewers, we need to keep them closed. This is a good cause and so is helping out Incarnation, but we have formed a strange fellowship. [/sblock]
[sblock=OOC] If any of the group is joinin in on the conversation, Dane will speak in common as to not exclude anybody.[/sblock]

Shortly after the introduction that was just played out the golbin, human with two swords, and tiefling will leave on a patrol. Halfway through the night they will return, only for the young dragonborn and two goliaths to head out.
This is an extended rest. Everyone gets 567 xp from the first encounter. [/sblock]

The female Goliath who had met the party in the woods is the first to answer Incarnation's inquiry.
"The Warden has a diverse background of study. The current seals here reflect a combination of different practices both arcane and spiritual. These are more protection oriented, to let us continue our work. There are others in the forest."

The Warden approaches Rurdev later in the evening, when he is not with Incarnation. When he's near, and due to your martial background, you can tell his sword is of exceptional quality, even sheathed.
"You serve as the warforged protector?" He asks, obviously curious for more.

Bowchicka wow-wow
When the evening grows later the dwarven female speaks a bit too loudly to be talking to the half-elf girl next to her.
"What an ominous evening. I should really check my sky charts from a better position, but I know THE WARDEN wants us to travel ESCORTED."
I don't expect this to happen chronologically. Feel free to carry more than one conversation at once, just mark them for me. For example.

He askes Georg to assist him in his assessment. I ask for I wish to know how deteriorated Agras' wards are. After he is done examining, he turns back to the goliath.
