Kendra nods and eyes the patrons of the bar. "We should leave now," she says abruptly. "It was foolish of us to let you sit here so long, in public."

Shrugging, the tall warrior, holding a stout and well worn shield in one grizzled hand and a finely made trident with a head of black iron in the other chuckles and remarks, 'Lead on then, Wizardress.'

She eyes the warrior a moment, as if deciding whether to respond to his mockery, then rises.

"Follow me, then," she says, carefully making her way to the door.

Unsure which one of the two young ladies Wulfcyne was referring to, Nuria shrugs and looks to Kendra. Upon seeing Kendra take the lead, Nuria will follow. Before departing the Inn, she will tuck her flowing copper hair under the hood of her robe.

Time passed- within the shadowy confines of the tavern it was difficult to say how long, precisely.

Then the door rocked open with a bang, and a tall woman pushed her way into the place backwards, moving with assurance. Hardly even looking around the room, she unslung her heavy satchel and almost casually tossed it to rest beside an empty table- in the same motion she drew the huge sword from its sheath across her back. Her angular face was set in a furious snarl as she took a ready stance facing the door, as if waiting for a host of foes to rush in.

Nothing followed her. After a few heartbeats, she risked aquick glance around the room. Another moment passed, and she moved back to the doorway, sword still ready. She peered out into the street, but whatever had been behind her was gone now. With a sharp shake of her head, she moved back through the room to where she had thrown her gear- leaning the sword against the wall, she took the chair facing the door. "I, Reveka called Scrapescale, have returned to this place- richer, but more confused. I would have a drink once more before another strange task requires my sword," she called to Brews.

The door opened quietly, apparently by itself, as there was only darkness and rain at the threshold. The door clatters shut with no apparent visitor. After a moment, a hissing comes from one of the dark tables. One could swear the short, stocky lizardfolk with large eyes and a dusky red undercoloring was not there a moment ago.[sblock=Spot 19]There was a small form blending into the storm at the threshold. It is the one that moved to suddenly appear.[/sblock] Thral'k Kossss is back for more coin. Ssssoftssskins alwaysss want to ssspend coin.

As some point, the lizard disappears from sight. It is unclear whether it left, or it is still lurking somewhere. Later, the door opens once more and a half-orc burdened with armor, tools, junk and scrap trundles up. Hi, Brews! Tondrek back! Me like milk! The half-orc then begins to absent-minded begins toying with some scrap metal.
