GM's anyone ever have a Female?

While I've had multiple female GMs over the years, my latest game with a female GM took place after moving to Boston. Maybe it's something in the water that makes females think that they can GM.

I'd usually see several female DMs at conventions during the days of Living Greyhawk, and still see a few regular ones at RPGA game days and the like.

Currently, my regular gaming group has 2 women and 4 guys. I'm also in an online group with similar ratios, but with one of the women as the DM. It just doesn't seem unusual to me, these days. Maybe not common, but certainly not nonexistent.

First Post: I've only run games a few times. My husband usually runs the games.

not being sexist, I just never recall ever seeing a female running games at a con, been to a few of them countywide. Seen a few players (small percentage like 12%) at cons, and even played with two or three until they found a bf and lost intrest or just had no time

Have had many in the past, have one currently, and I am one. I see plenty at conventions, too. Nothing unusual here really.
