The monsters take over! (aka Congratulations Finland)

A small band of monsters had invaded Greece recently, apparently bent on musical domination.
Lordi, the name of the band, had just one more obstacle to overcome - the European Song Contest.

Despite warnings from jealous commentors and other concerned people, the creatures managed to charm their way into the Contest, and apparently the hearts of the viewers, too, as Lordi managed to gain points from almost all countries taking part in the contest. These points were amassed, and in the end, they had enough points to win the contest for their land - Finland.

Even though it is not my kind of music, it was a good song. Congratulations to Finland for a deserved victory!

Not only that, they got more points than any other winner before. Of course, there were more countries participating (and thus more points given) but still...wow. :heh:
