(OOC: You can't get even close to Michael with a single move. You guys in the tunnel are still catching up from the tunnel because last round was just a five-foot step. My suggested mutation of that move is a double-move to the breach, drawing the wand as part of the move action)

Given how far back Eternity and the others are in the tunnel, she'll lead the way to the main room where the others are waiting.

(ooc: guess thats as far as she can get for one round)

*Eternity and Almayce head to the doorway, as Almayce draws a wand from his belt.*

*The remaining two assailants near the party close the short gap to give chase. However, though they would dearly like to finish off the devastatingly dangerous and nigh-dead Ironwolf, a combination of Almayce, Eternity, and Astral Constructs placed by Zaeryl for this reason block their way. Thus, they decide to attack Eternity, hitting her once. Also of note, one of the Afflicted that is on the floor but not dead wakes up and tries to rise. An Astral Construct kills it.*

The next wave of six remaining Afflicted swarm past the Astral Construct, which downs one of them, to its credit. The other five decide that attacking the Astral Construct guy might be fun, or perhaps the near-dying Ironwolf next to him. One of them hits Zaeryl but does not quite spoil his concentration, but unfortunately, another of them slashes Ironwolf's neck and leaves the giant warrior dying, spilling blood over the cold stone floor.*

(OOC: Eternity takes 9, then Ironwolf takes 7 (at -5!) and Zaeryl takes 8.)

*Another wave, this time of ten Afflicted, approaches into the light thrown by Michael in the distance.*

*Zaeryl completes his manifestation, as two more of the more dangerous Astral Constructs appear, one just in front of the newest group of ten, the other nearby to protect himself from his own assailants, and he shakes with self-inflicted psychic enervation another time for doing so. Then he takes a moment of calm and regains his psionic focus, replying to Michael:*

"We suggest leaving the way we came, which has no enemies at the moment, as soon as possible, after healing Ironwolf once to wake him up. We have cover covered."

*As one of the Constructs disappears completely into the darkened dead-end hallway, the other Astral Constructs kill both of the Afflicted attacking Eternity as well as the two attacking Zaeryl and the one that downed Ironwolf (sweet revenge!), leaving two Afflicted in the mix near Zaeryl and Ironwolf's body. The other newly-conjured construct kills two of the ten, as the one left behind that was conjured last round moves to stand just south, forming a blockade of Astral Constructs that should prevent the remaining eight from passing unless they all bowl past like they did with Michael.*

(OOC: Everyone's turn!)

"So I see."
Michael spares a moment to count the army of Zaeryl's ghost monsters -- Four? Six? He's a whole adventuring party by himself! -- and converts his pitifully inadequate Spiritual Weapon spell into a healing spell.
Converted Spiritual Weapon (2d8+3=7)
Wow. It's even a pitifully inadquate healing spell.

Then he sets off at his best speed for Ironwolf, hammer in his right hand, curing spell in his left hand.
And whatever you do, DON'T mix them up!!

(OOC: With no armor, Michael can move 30 feet, which means he won't quite make it this round. If necessary, he'll try to slide, but I don't even think that will help.)

(OOC: Almayce, on the other hand, can heal him this round--I'd've suggested Michael just stick where he is ahead of the pack rather than going back into the mess, since he's already the furthest along the right way. Also note that wading to Ironwolf would likely provoke an AoO for Michael)

Right.
If Michael knew Almayce had a Cure Light Wounds Wand, which he doesn't.
As things are now, it'll likely take both of those to get Ironwolf on his feet: he'll drop to -6 this turn. A CLW might not get him up.

Michael will, however, wait for Zaeryl's Constructs of Doom to mow down the afflicted around Ironwolf in the hopes they'll be too dead to take attacks of opportunity.
