How many pages will the 5E PHB have?

5e will have us buying an electronic game aid that you have to pay $30 per month to update and to use.

No more need for tables, dice, paper, nor pencils. Since it is self contained, you can play D&D anywhere including the subway. If your neighborhood does not have a subway, you will be able to use it on the bus. :)

More seriously, assuming they're still trying to sell a hardbound book the same size as most non-SWSE RPG books, it'll probably be 320 pages again. It's very rare to go bigger than that, but for the main rulebook for D&D, you always want more pagecount. They'll probably aim for 288, and keep trying to get there, but end up with 320.

Maybe the 5E D&D system will be streamlined enough such that both the PHB and DMG will be in the same book in 320 pages (or less), similar to the Pathfinder PFRPG core book.
