I just realized that ChatGPT is familiar with the "Seven Sentence NPC" methodology and is capable with guidance of producing seven sentence NPCs that fit named constraints.

While the current version shows a lot of limitations, this might well soon be a game changer for me in the reoccurring problem of PC's wanting to know details about NPCs I never bothered to give names or backgrounds as it is smart enough to understand concepts like community demographics, setting, and genre something most random generators can't adapt to. It can also repair broken descriptions on the fly based on feedback.

Tests with the new Bing AI show even more promise. The amount of creativity is higher with Bing and it takes less to get Bing to understand demographics.
