D&D 2E Help Converting a 2E FR Character

I'm trying to figure out how to convert a AD&D 2E Forgotten Realms NPC. It is "Minder" from the old DC/TSR Forgotten Realms comic. In the 2E stats, she's a 10th Level Dwarven Fighter whose spirit resides in the body of an iron golem. In D&D 3.5, would she retain some of the Dwarven traits, like the bonus to attack certain creatures and stonecunning? Should I stack the fighter levels with the golem HD to get the final character level? I just don't know.
