Girth's eyes narrowed as he espied the sarcophagi.

"Maybe unwise it is to venture here. The Undead fearsome foes are, with many dread powers. Time for a sharp exit this might be."

The warlock sounded more than a little shaken by the sight before him. Rather than move forward he stayed near the bottom of the stairs where he cast many nervous glances back up to the light above.

Despite his obvious unease he held the sunrod high to allow the others to see what lay before them. He on the other hand was neither perceptive nor ready!

Kauldron wades down the center isle, the burn of his cigar casting an odd glow directly before him. A sudden shifting occurs all around him. A creak accompanies a few small puff of dust. Two skeletal warriors come to full human height holding old rusty scimitars before them.

Two more gaunt looking forms rise as well in the room wearing little but rags and holding no clear weapon. Their sunken eyes show no life and one has a piece of middle missing all together. The rise takes a moment however, giving some of the party time to strike.

[sblock=Beyrk, Hrav and anyone with Passive Perception 20 or better]Two ghostly forms rise as well in the room. They seem to be little more than shadows at first but your sharp eye recognize the truth.

**I've placed them on the math because I assume you'll use a free action to let the others know.**[/sblock]

[sblock=all]This is not a surprise round. If you go before the enemies please make a full round of actions.

Hrav slips into the room quickly, then stabs the skeleton in a very important-looking vertebrae.

"Let's make these undead dead again, crew!"

Standard action - Piercing Strike against Skeleton 2, with CA due to First Strike.

Piercing Strike Skeleton 2 (CA, SA) (1d20+12+2=30, 1d10+6=14, 2d8+4=14)

Hits Reflex 30 for 28 damage.

Just a friendly reminder, since it may come up. Hrav has Resist Necrotic 5 (in his stat block, but hey, you're new to this crew) thanks to his Deathcut Leather Armor.[/sblock]
