Nitpick, if you allow me :) The original I-6 and the Expedition to CR were NOT part of the RL setting. When I-6 was created, it was a “get in, kill the boss and get out” adventure (and a great one). When EtCR was redone (less greatly), the writers did have I-6 in mind only, and not the RL...

I think that if Shadowfell has some Ravenloft traits, it's quite cool. It's a good idea. But if WotC just uses the Ravenloft setting for spare parts in 4e, that's totally uncool. Ravenloft parts in Shadowfell, great, as long as there is a 4e RL setting also. Joël Ravenloft fan

The only thing we know is that something at WotC is messing/scrambling the scedule of release. But nobody outside the tight WotC circle knows why, or can talk about what is happening. So let's keep our fingers crossed, and we'll wait for the next update. FYI, there is a thread on the FoS main...

Indeed, the poll mixes adventures and settings. But on the criteria of the most pleasure I got from reading and playing it, it's the Ravenloft Campaign settings 3.0/3.5. And as another mentioned, most of the 3e era RL settings books are excellent. Joël

From what I understand from our web site, many Ravenloft fans will keep to 3.5 until Ravenloft is somehow converted to 4e, either by WotC (our choice) or by us (use of 3.5 books fluff with converted 3.5->4e stats). Joël

I also doubt Ravenloft would be that low in priority, given the new novels, the success of EtCR and its years of cool material WotC could update. In a poll where many many online people did vote, Ravenloft was third. Joël
