Great job, BOZ! Bravo! And since RL is coming to another undead life again, you should raisy its priority in the project :) Joël

Manual of the Planes Excerpt: Shadowfell

Nitpick, if you allow me :) The original I-6 and the Expedition to CR were NOT part of the RL setting. When I-6 was created, it was a “get in, kill the boss and get out” adventure (and a great one). When EtCR was redone (less greatly), the writers did have I-6 in mind only, and not the RL...

Manual of the Planes Excerpt: Shadowfell

I think that if Shadowfell has some Ravenloft traits, it's quite cool. It's a good idea. But if WotC just uses the Ravenloft setting for spare parts in 4e, that's totally uncool. Ravenloft parts in Shadowfell, great, as long as there is a 4e RL setting also. Joël Ravenloft fan

    4e Ravenloft - Dragon 368

My review for the first article. I'm a long term Ravenloft fan. Not bad for a start. The story has a cool darklord and a horrible curse for her. But it won’t appeal to all Ravenloft fans: The new domain of Sunderheart itself is fun, part MotRD (the Poe story for the on going party), part...

    Ravenloft: Nocturnal Sea Report released!

Hey, thank you! :) --- For the record, the shipwreck ideas I mentionned on Île de la Tempête came from these ENWorlders: Agent Oracle; Ambros; Grymar; DJCupboard; magicka; ivocaliban; TheAuldGrump; Tonguez; Varianor Abroad; and Whizbang Dustyboots. These improved a long list of shipwrecks...

    Ravenloft: Nocturnal Sea Report released!

Thanks for the good comments! Sorry for the download problem, I know we had hundreds of them yesterday. I hope it is less overloaded now. AFAIK, the kargatane decided that, as writers of the RL 3e books, they couldn't also release netbooks (or somebody else wasn't, may be). So they finished...

    Ravenloft: Nocturnal Sea Report released!

Esteemed colleagues from beyond the Mists, You may remember I once asked here for shipwrecks ideas, and I got many great suggestions from you guys. It helped a lot defining Ile de la Tempête. So it is with great excitement that we announce the release of the Fraternity of Shadows' Nocturnal...

Building an undead Treant - Suggestions?

Yes, it was made into the 3.5 era, in Denizens of Dread. A CR 9, blood draining undead tree.

D&D Product Listing By Date & Checklist

Yup, but that's as official 3e RL as the others :) It just wasn't published on paper and was released as a PDF when WW / WotC stopped the RL license. Here's the link, you can add it to the file? http://download.white-wolf.com/download/download.php?file_id=410 Joël

    WotC Ravenloft Novels

The only thing we know is that something at WotC is messing/scrambling the scedule of release. But nobody outside the tight WotC circle knows why, or can talk about what is happening. So let's keep our fingers crossed, and we'll wait for the next update. FYI, there is a thread on the FoS main...

    Favorite edition of Ravenloft?

Indeed, the poll mixes adventures and settings. But on the criteria of the most pleasure I got from reading and playing it, it's the Ravenloft Campaign settings 3.0/3.5. And as another mentioned, most of the 3e era RL settings books are excellent. Joël

Just got the WotC 2008 Summer Catalog

From what I understand from our web site, many Ravenloft fans will keep to 3.5 until Ravenloft is somehow converted to 4e, either by WotC (our choice) or by us (use of 3.5 books fluff with converted 3.5->4e stats). Joël

    One setting per year?

I also doubt Ravenloft would be that low in priority, given the new novels, the success of EtCR and its years of cool material WotC could update. In a poll where many many online people did vote, Ravenloft was third. Joël

Just got the WotC 2008 Summer Catalog

Yep, a third new Ravenloft novel in 2008 ! Yippee! Amazon has a short summary: http://www.amazon.com/Clockwork-Angels-Ravenloft-Samantha-Henderson/dp/0786950277/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196124281&sr=1-6 Ah? Ari, what can you say about this one? ;) Joël

    One new setting a year?

Yes! If the decision isn't already made, which I doubt at this point, I also hope that WotC's new RL novels for next year is a test on the popularity of RL. If they sell well, we'll have RL in 4e. But I'd like to note that one book to introduce/re-introduce a new setting a year can be tricky to...

EN World Maps and Other Campaign Resources (Updated 12/04/2004)

This needs to be updated. SotKargatane isn't the official campaign site (there are none for RL as of now), and it's closed - but continue listing it as they kept their great netbooks online for download. And you should add the site in my sig - that is where are most of the RLers online...
