I've got a physical copy of Cyberpunk 2020 and (legal) digital copies of pretty much the entire 2020 library. And, boy, was I surprised to find they published far fewer 2020 books than I remembered. I'll check out Modos 2, thanks. You end up in a funnny place when you're trying to maintain continuity of any kind. But I guess R. Talsorian Games could have used the advance as an opportunity to update the "future" in a way that combined what has already been published with advancements made since 1991. I don't really mind a retro future type game though. What I disliked was what I saw as a stupid economy that made no sense, the rules were poorly implemented, and I disliked some of the special abilities given to the various roles. The Nomad's special ability is they get a vehicle. Not even a good vehicle. Great, this is a game where looking cool is important and my special ability is to be the group's chauffeur.
