Some houserules from a friend of mine;
- Clerics could spontaneously cast all 1st and 2nd level spells
(because no one wanted to play clerics).
- healing spells healed (+ targets level) in hp
(higher level characters get more healing)
- wizards gain bonus spells for high int.
- spend a weapon prof for weapon specialization in 1 weapon(+1 hit/2 dam, move up 1 "level" on the multiple attacks chart) for fighters at 1st level and other fighter types at there 1st additional weapon prof
(supposed to be from a dragon magazine article)
- large shields -2 ac/ body shields -4 ac
- monks got d6 HD
(instead of d4, so low level monks could survive to be cool)
