D&D 5E Advent's Amazing Advice: The Wolves of Welton, A One-Shot fully prepped and ready to go!

Sorry for the late reply. I kept most of both stories the same. The wolves received their abilities from Finethir Shinebright, the wizard from The Wild Sheep Chase. He went to get rid of the wolves (I never did establish what he planned to do to be honest) but his apprentice, Ahmed Noke had...

D&D 5E Advent's Amazing Advice: The Wolves of Welton, A One-Shot fully prepped and ready to go!

I ran this adventure and linked it into The Wild Sheep Chase as a follow up adventure. I changed the setting to be in a forest outside Phandalin and changed how the wolves obtained their abilities so I could link it into The Wild Sheep Chase. The adventure was great and played out well. They...

    D&D 5E Download LEGO's The Red Dragon's Tale

I know their states aren't included but you could always make them up and tweak the adventure by having them meet the party after escaping from the evil wizard and that's why they go back to the inn and start their investigation.

    D&D 5E Download LEGO's The Red Dragon's Tale

I've read through this adventure and I enjoyed it. I think incorporating a Lego set is so cool! I know that people have used Lego to RPG's for years, but I never have. A friend of mine used Lego to play a solo version of the The Doomed RPG and he said it was a lot of fun. Both to build and play...

Critical Role's 'Daggerheart' Open Playtest Starts In March

I've not read everything in the playtest but from what I have read and watching the videos this will only really appeal to people who love role playing and creating/effecting/enhancing the world that their characters live in. I can't see it appealing to those players who aren't big on role play...

D&D 5E Short, Funny Bard Songs Please

Here's a few more songs I've worked on Heal (Sung to "Jump") You get beaten up, and sometimes knocked down Your pretty tough, one of the toughest around And I know, just how to heal You got to roll with the punches and parry that steel I can make your wounds disappear If you're injured I can...

D&D 5E Vecna: Eve of Ruin Coming May 21st!

I'm really looking forward to this. My homebrew campaign that I'm currently running is basically the same story. It will be interesting to see what's similar.

On Kickstarter There Are More Successful Projects But Creators Earning 30% Less

Is it possible that the reason Individual creators earned an average of 30% less in 2023 compared to 2019 is due to higher production costs and the rise in add-ons?

D&D 5E Advent's Amazing Advice: The Wolves of Welton, A one-shot fully prepped and ready to go!

I recently ran Wolves of Welton for my group and they loved it. They enjoyed how it's not just about combat but interaction and negotiation. It's a fantastic one-shot that even a novice DM like me can run.

    Next Star Wars Movie Announced!

I agree that isn't the most exciting movie title. Let's hope it's just a working title. Having said that a full length movie featuring the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu is definitely something I look forward to watching.

MCDM's New Tactical TTRPG Hits $1M Crowdfunding On First Day!

I love the idea of a cinematic dramatically exciting and fun RPG. If it can deliver that then it'll definitely be worth it. Having said that I've only gone with the PDF pledge, as I just don't have the funds for the physical books, especially as I live in the UK and I dread to think what the...

What are you reading in 2023?

I'm currently reading Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. It's the second book in a duology set in the Grishaverse, the first book being Six of Crows. Earlier books in the Grishaverse were made into the Netflix series Shadow and Bone. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it basically follows a group...

D&D 5E Short, Funny Bard Songs Please

I'm aware that this is an old post but I found it while looking for inspiration for my bard character. I have re-written a few songs for certain situations and thought I would share them. I'm pretty new to D&D and I'm no lyrist but I thought these were fun and other people might like to use them...
