D&D (2024) Mystara in new edition confirmed

More like the Western continent. The princess art did map out huge chunks of the southern continent.

D&D 5E How do you handle randomly rolling for stats

Oh I've used constitution for a dump stat when I hose a character's creation. I've played Stumpy McLunger more than once. The only thing that they shared other than a scorching case of consumption was a rather nasty overestimation of their fighting skills at low level.

D&D 5E How do you handle randomly rolling for stats

3D6 straight down like the dice gods intended. Failing that 4d6 drop the lowest. I never do point buy or array those lead to cookie cutter characters.

D&D (2024) Mystara in new edition confirmed

Mystara has a huge following outside the United States because the basic box set was translated into I think 17 different languages. If you wanted to play a D&D setting and you weren't an English speaker the default setting was Mystara. The Japanese books are quite the collector's item.

D&D (2024) Mystara in new edition confirmed

I think Dark Sun's problems are more mechanical than anything else for 5e. Wizards just tried repeatedly to make psychic rules but they've never been able to come up with anything comprehensive enough to handle what dark sun would require. The other issue is that they expect all settings to be...

D&D (2024) Mystara in new edition confirmed

Like every other setting. You dig deep enough in any of them you're going to find something people find offensive. They opened up Ravenloft despite completely disavowing their take on the Vistani. Not to mention villains like the Gentleman Caller. The setting has over a hundred books People...

D&D (2024) Mystara in new edition confirmed

The Guild sells Orcs of Thar without any revisions. The Guild has removed titles it has found offensive. They can't police what the fans want or how they play. But they already filter what they can buy

    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

It's very stylistic and I like it much more than the other cover but the characters all look like deep gnomes. ALL HAIL SVIRFNEBLIA!

D&D (2024) The D&D Cartoon Heroes In The 2024 PHB

The drawstring should be on the inside of his arm not on the outside. Otherwise that bow is going to take off a layer of skin when he fires it.

Hank is going to find out real quick that's not how you hold a drawstring second he fires that arrow

D&D 5E Enhancing Vecna: Eve of Ruin *SPOILERS*

I've been thumbing through it, and sharing it with some of the other lore channels to see what they think. Most of them are disappointed. There's a lot of continuity errors so working on replacing most of the adventures with something a little bit more epic. Made some changes to the wizards...

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

The art is very much product of its time. Conan the barbarian had not too long ago hit the screen. Boris and Frank had given us some of the most iconic fantasy art ever. Burly barbarian men were all the rage. It's not the only time TSR modeled their release after what was popular. Kung Fu...

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

The chest wouldn't be the problem. Try sculpting a miniature with that coif and have it not fall over. That is the most epic '80s hair ever created in the history of mankind

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

I've seen Snu Snu the Barbarian and his name was Robert Paulson for more recent references. And there is an Amazonian have a resemblance to the model from that Futurama episode

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

It was an April fool's episode. Morgan had an 18 in every stat and one level in every class. The art wasn't so much masculine as wearing so many clothes so that you couldn't tell what sex she was or even if she was technically humanoid. It was an obvious parody

I think we were doing a test run for them. They decided to go with plastics rather than pewter. We did a lot of LE stuff for a lot of companies when I worked for them. It was only for a couple of months and then they pulled the project.

Did work for them about 2 decades ago. They also did the magic the gathering spin down dials. Didn't last long

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

According to the TSR guys it's meant to be the same guy as he levels up.

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

That I couldn't tell you. It could be equal parts both. But if wizards didn't want this made in the way that it was made then they would drop the hammer. If that was their initial idea or they just went with it you'd have to ask them
