Making the mountain dwarf fighter from what they're selling is my point. I could've gone and entered everything myself to make him, but my point being that I don't feel like paying $20 for the program so that I can go and enter in all the missing races, class features, spells, feats, etc...

As is, this is absolutely useless to me. I couldn't even remake my mountain dwarf fighter. I know that with the editor I could add in most (all maybe) of the missing content, but why would I pay $20 (I do use it a lot for savage worlds, shadowrun and M&M) for something that I can get excel...

No worries...I never realized it either until in a Sage Advice column, they noted that Jack of All Trades bonus could be added to initiative rolls, unless other proficiency type bonuses were applied, so we looked it up. That being said, it makes me think that if you are proficient in DEX, does...

I believe it's only skill and ability checks (since initiative is an ability check) but not saving throws.

Gotcha... As for Feats, I just really wanted to add in the Dragonmarks.

Is there any chance that you'll be adding the Eberron races from Unearthed Arcana, and/or allowing multiple custom races to be added and saved for future use? Also, maybe being able to add custom feats/classes and edit existing classes (i.e., wizard to add Artificer path)?

And as promised, after a quick look over the "magazine", all 34 pages worth, my initial feeling was "meh". I'll be honest, I like that I have Lord Soth's stats for 4E now (probably my favorite article of the whole thing by the way, very nice job Claudio!), but was only "meh" for the rest...

You're absolutely right, and I'll tell you what, when I do get to see their articles, if I like them, I'll talk about how good I think they are. Until then, I can't comment on how good/well written their articles are.

This just proves how secondary new 4e DDI content has become.

And I respect your opinion. Honestly, I haven't purchased the book, but I would still have wanted the crunch for 4E that was provided for 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition.

Yeah, and with 5E/DnD Next not due out until at least 2014, they could at least keep producing products for the current game instead of giving 4E fans the "edition neutral cold shoulder". I have all the other Menzoberranzan books, and none of them are edition neutral, why should 4E not get one...

I also was perturbed by the 3.x centric spell list. I did comment that I thought if there was a spell, it's opposite should be included automatically (i.e., knock and arcane lock). Still very, very disappointed that they are bringing back the Vancian spellcasting system, even when their own...

No, all I'm saying is that everyone is ecstatic about it being free...I'm saying when it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that they want, you have to remember, you're getting what you're paying for. I won't even start on DDI...I jumped off that boat a while ago...
