    Looking for Fantasy Atlas

The Kingdoms of Kalamar Atlas for D&D 3rd edition is a big hardcover of nothing but full color maps. The Perilous Lands box set for Powers & Perils contains a softcover atlas of full color maps.

    D&D 5E What's your favorite 5e book cover?

The Candlekeep Mysteries alt cover. It looks like a real antique book, which I dig.

TSR Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum for Sale

They may end up owning it after all of the associated legal cases are settled.

TSR Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum for Sale

It's worth about $300k based on other nearby property valuations. The D&D connection doesn't add millions to the valuation. The collection of gaming material is maybe worth $10k-15k-ish (based on the opinion of prominent collectors whom I trust more than infamous liar Justin LaNasa). If somebody...

What keeps uninterested players showing up each session?

The ever present looming threat of death.

How happy are you with your table/group?

I very much like our current group for Vampire 5e. When it comes to playing D&D 5e, however, I'm not as satisfied (there have been a LOT of false starts for campaigns and a few of the players won't buy a PHB or bother to figure out how their abilities actually work, which has driven me a bit...

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

D&D 3E/3.5 So how was AEG's Warlords of the Accordlands anyway?

It was better than I expected it to be. It suffered a bit from being a d20 STL product rather than an OGL product (meaning that it wasn't a standalone game and required the D&D core books to play). At one point I created a custom PHB from the D&D 3x SRD with just the info required to play...

    ACE (Awfully Cheerful Engine) Supplements?

I very recently purchased a copy of ACE with some DriveThru publisher credit that I had accumulated. It looks like a great adaptation of WEG's early D6 System (as it existed in Ghostbusters). It looks like it can do a ton of fun stuff right out of the box, but I think I'll probably pick up some...

    The Hunt for Gollum

My absolute favorite Serkis picture is an obscure UK slasher film called The Cottage. Serkis and Shearsmith absolutely elevate what would otherwise be little more than a bad, C-tier, horror movie to an absolutely enjoyable black comedy worth repeated viewings.

D&D General How often do you complete a campaign as a player?

Very rarely. I've started dozens of campaigns in the past 10 years or so. I think two of them have been run to completion.

    The Hunt for Gollum

I dunno. I'm interested in seeing a deep dive into Gollum's tragic backstory (assuming that's what this turns out to be).

What are your "dumbest" TTRPG costs

Roll20. Its very dated interface, steep learning curve, and crap pricing structure all made it a bad investment for me when I was still paying for it. I've since switched over to Owlbear Rodeo for maps and Discord for voice (and dice rolls). It's a much better solution for me.

    Anybody remember the "Warlock" supplement?

I still have the PDFs and would love to revisit it. I converted Rob Conley's Blackmarsh setting for use with Warlock. I dumped countless hours into that and setting up a campaign. Sadly, I didn't get to play it as much as I'd like to. Getting players for anything other than D&D 5e around here is...

PbtA Games: Sell One Well +

You can read about my group's absolutely bonkers Monster of the Week game in this thread. If that doesn't convince you of MotW's utility/flexibility, I don't know what will.

    Anybody remember the "Warlock" supplement?

Not only am I familiar with it, but I've played it (it might be where my user title comes from)! It was still played by CalTech students as recently as a decade ago and you could download the rules in both PDF and Word format online (first from a Yahoo Group and, when those went away, from a...

Looking for a Cyberpunk Genre Game

I normally avoid 5e for anything but D&D, but Carbon 2185 really hits it out of the park. Not only is it a well done implementation of the core 5e rules, but it's a standalone implementation, so none of that "you also need the D&D core books" malarky that many other products based on the 5e...

Looking for a Cyberpunk Genre Game

Carbon 2185 is a beautiful RPG and, if you're not wanting to drift too far from 5e, it has you covered (so the learning curve is very low). That said, it's very much a traditional cyberpunk RPG and not High Fantasy + Cyberpunk like Shadowrun.

Running adventures in systems that they were not designed for.

For awhile (years ago now) I really wanted to use M&M to run a supers game in an otherwise traditional fantasy setting.

Edge Studios Announces Details for Arkham Horror RPG

I feel that it's probably more correct to say they ostensibly still publish the old FFG games.
