I am writing up a Half-Elf Cleric/ Ranger with a Con of 17. How do I calculate the hit points? I know that I divide the roll from the hit dice in half. The question is do I add the Con bonus before or after I divide the roll?

What are the rules, if any, regarding underwater spellcasting? I have looked through the books and couldn't find anything on the subject. Am I just missing something? Thanks in advance for your help. -TC

My son(16) and I are looking for a family friendly game in the IA/IL Quad Cites area. I have been playing since 1972 with experience in all editions while my son has only played a few 3.5 games. Both of us are eager to get into a 5e game if possible but older editions are good also. -David

I am writing up a Gnome Artificer (Alchemist) for an upcoming campaign and ran into a question in search of an answer. Are Alchemists proficient with their alchemical creations? Do they get their proficiency bonus when throwing Alchemical Fire at a targrt? The Gunsmith archetype clearly states...

How does the Barbarian's fast movement work? As written in the 3.5 PHB, the rule says that his speed is increased when wearing no armor, light armor or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. The examples given however say otherwise. Is there errata on this that I don't know about? any help...
