Davaros' low int and wis are going to be a liability here, and I will assume he wouldn't think of parlaying as a deception. Besides, it's not his style.

Davaros unsheeth his swords, and without any words or movements from him, his loyal steed races away towards the male giant. He utters a prayer to empower his weapon, and strikes at the giant.

Davaros deals 12 points of damage to the fire giant. He seems to resist the fear.

One of the trolls is able to move up and follow up with an attack. It scores a bite and a claw inflicting all of 18 damage.

The female giant calls her yoke of trolls forward under threat of pain.

The only creatures immediately able to attack are he closest tied trolls and that fire giant. One troll hits Franz for 18.

The other troll hits Davaros for 7 with a bite.

The giant tries to take Davaros horse out from under him making two attacks hitting for 26 and 27 points of damage to the mount.

Parties turn.

Gul swore, regretting not finding a way closer to the giant.
He kept moving forward, bringing up a magical set of images in order to bolster his defence.

Folks, I'm taking 2 weeks of vacation, and will be travelling for the next week. I don't expect to be posting much for the next week, so I apologize for this. Davaros's horse disapears in a puff of smoke. The paladin stands, trying to maintain his dignity.

Staring at the giant in th eyes, he utters the same prayer as before, hoping that this time the spell will take. He won't last much longer if it does not. He then strikes at the giant.

He says to the trolls. "YOu fools, join us in this fight and regain your feedom!"

Riding on Whistler's back towards the Fire Giantess, Bellalalalalinda reconsiders some of the impetuous decisions she has made in her life. None moreso than the one she made 12 seconds ago, however. The trolls appear to be advancing on her, which is good because it means they are not advancing on her friends. She has studied trolls in the past, and she understands their movement. But only as individuals. She has never seen so many at one time in one place, and together they move like a flock of starlings, swirling in and out of each other and yet somehow becoming a single swarming entity. An entity with limbs and noses and warts and legs, of course; and so in that respect quite unlike starlings. Nevertheless, she hopes she can stay ahead of them, and maybe pull them away.

Her ululation begins, as she momentarily considers the word ululation itself, and decides she has more Ls in her name. But her legs spur Whistler onward, who wears east, hopefully drawing away all of the trolls.

Bell starts kiting the trolls around, the chains gradually wrapping around the giantess fist. She angrily reacts by inflicting her fiery wrath on the trolls. "Dogs, move together or I'll simply end you!

Bell and Whistler are off map a fair bit.

The troll in melee with Davaros lands a hit for 7. The giant misses.

The other troll manages a hit for 7.

Hanz and Franz both seem to miss their melee attacks.
