D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil II

Thaliss concentrates and flames appear again under the tank

OOC: Cast create bondfire. DC16 or [roll0] damage. Note that the creature needs to save (and gets damaged) if it ends its turn in the bondfire. Since it has been cooking for a full minute, it can't be in very good shape...

edit: Thaliss has the elemental adept feat, so all 1's are treated as 2's. The damage is therefore 4, not 2.

OOC: It's sitting on 15 hit points at this point (it even has fire damage resistance) so I'm not expecting it to see another turn.

OOC: FYI, Fire resistance does not work against Thaliss' fire spells because of Elemental adept! I was questioning whether I picked up a useful feat or not, I guess I did ;-)

Thaliss proceeds to boil the other two tanks. The screems are unsettling, but this must be done. After searching the rooma and the tanks, Thaliss asks Kubeda to open the western door.

OOC: the one at P63

Parts of this chamber are buried in piles of crumbling masonry, but enough remains intact to serve as an arcane workshop. A long wooden table in the middle of the room is littered with pieces of a complicated apparatus involving a large glass tank, copper fittings and piping, and a leather carrying harness, while shelves full of alchemical reagents stand against the south wall. The air is quite cold in here, and a chill mist clings to the floor. A large adjoining room to the north looks like someone's bedchamber. Doors lead out to the south and the east, and another door leads east from the bedchamber area.

Also... looks like some fans have assembled.

As the door opens a prepared spellcaster at the other end of the room summons an ice storm directly on top of the group. Parties turn.

Each creature in the area (I presume everyone, let me know if you believe otherwise) must make a dexterity saving throw DC 14 or take [roll0] bludgeoning damage and [roll1] cold damage. Save halves the damage. The area on the map is difficult terrain and can deal more damage over time.

Dex save for Carradoc: [roll0].

So HP were 51+10 temp (assuming standard practice after a long rest).
Now down to 31.
