Six tall columns of cracked and chipped red marble loom over this hall, which lies east of an underground lake. Provisions and trade goods are stacked against the walls: bundles of valuable furs and pelts, sacks of flour and meal, barrels of salted meat and ale, casks of oil, and more. Three long tables with benches are set up in the middle of the room, and a large bronze gong stands on the stone quay at the lake edge. A single torch burns in a sconce on one of the room's middle pillars.

Hey look it's a party! Included among them is a dragon turtle and seven reavers.

Thaliss is awestruck at the sight of the dragon turtle. The reavers should be easy to deal with, but the dragon could be a problem. Beads of sweat run down his neck as he waits to see his companion's reactions.

(awesome -- I have never encountered a Dragon turtle in a game before. I am terrified).

Carradoc looks at the massive creature that somehow fills this room. He is reluctant to engage at all, but he wants to try something -- a spell, a new spell he has never used before. "Transform" he simply says, pointing his finger at the monster.

It's a polymorph spell, and he wants to transform the dragon turtle into something smaller, lighter, and non-threatening -- a regular turtle, that won't be able to escape quickly.

If it works, he will draw back, and simply do his best to maintain concentration -- "I don't know how long I can keep this up. Someone grab the turtle, and bring it to me!"

If it doesn't work, he will simply say "I don't think we can win this fight, lads," and retreat.

OOC: Action: Cast Polymorph on Dragon Turtle, changing it into a turtle (10 move (5' move?- a short-legged turtle?), size tiny?). DC 16.

He does not move into the room, but either shifts to the back of the pack, so he has cover. If someone brings him the turtle (with a dash, etc.?) he will hold it, very very carefully.

Currently: HP 51+10 temp., AC 17; spells 3/3/1/0.

OOC: This is just so unbelievably awesome!!!

Thaliss takes a quick glance at the wizard in awe, nods in approval showing some dismay at the power that his companion just invoked. Feeling renewed confidence, he blasts one of the reavers in the back.

Kubeba was confused, the giant turtle was now a smaller turtle. It was so funny that one of the enemy had fallen over laughing. But honestly he was thinking of turtle soup.

"Do we attack the turtle while it is small?" he asks as he charges forwards to the reavers.

[sblock=actions]

Attack AN41

First two attacks hit AC 12 and 20 respectively for 22 and 23 points of damage.

If the reaver is killed move to AJ 42 and attack with Bonus action attack hits AC 24 for 35 points of damage [crit]

"No! Treat it very carefully and bring it to me," says the voice of Carradoc from behind the corner. The desperation in his voice is, he hopes, clear. Do not attack the baby turtle.
