The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
Gifted is the "Super powers" of adventurer edition. They put in a generic skill (focus) to use them but its otherwise pretty much the same. As for Betazoid it may just be losing the extra edge that humans get for a generic bonus to Psionic Abilities. I'll knock something around in a bit.
I think the super powers / gifted arcane edge could work pretty well. It represents innate abilities (and gives a bit more versatility in using them). That said, one of the conceits of the system is that powers use power points. It means that vulcans are going to have to buy the trait to be...
The only one that concerns me a little is Weird Science out of the lot. It would have to be something 'over and above the technology level' to require that edge. It can be done, it sort of fits that engineering niche but weird science isn't engineering (aka you can't replicate weird devices...
Well all signs point to the game being set about 2295 (about 2 years after the signing of the first Kitomer Accords) as the Beta Quadrant really starts opening up for peaceable research by the federation but the specter of war still looms.
In terms of Ships, the Enterprise A is one suggestion...
Well lets start planning for the first scenario and if we get interest in something different its easy enough to transition characters or remake them. In terms of Alien Races, I like the idea of sticking to human for now. One of the advantages of Swade is that their 'race builder' is spelled out...
Well if I'm only getting a couple of players that opens up what we can do in fiction quite a bit. We definitely could do a captain and first officer (with the priviso being that you work together) or even some more political type/not star ship type stuff
So, in terms of elevator pitches:
The...
Well I wasn't sure on the rules for posting things like that. That is Explorer's edition which is sort of their Edition 1.5. The rules are largely the same (although there are some differences, skills are a bit more simplified in SWADE, Charisma was made a generic bonus in SWADE, etc). If...
Savage Worlds is a generic system, started with a wild weird west setting and they've released settings for basically every genre. Now as we're kitbashing Star Trek and Savage Worlds together, there is not a specific conversion or setting rules to use. That said, the best intro I could find...

Hi Everyone,
After a briefish return to Dnd-type games over the pandemic, I thought I would try something different in the roleplaying realm. I want to try my hand at some soft Sci-Fi and I thought Star Trek would be a great fit. After looking at the half a dozen Star Trek systems, I thought...
