    D&D General What Are Traps For?

    1) Grimtooth is one of those RPG books that is much more enjoyable to read than actually use. 2) IMO White Plume Mountain is an excellent example of traps done well. Some obstacle traps, some puzzle traps, and most are different/fun/unique environments to fight a monster.

    That's pretty good. I would emphasis that people should make sure that they do not include anything that has been designated as PI in their product. So... no Mind Flayer.... but could describe them in your own words... "tentacled faced aliens that eat brains"
