I thought that most of the figures on the cover are specific characters? Which is very much the opposite of generic.

The only people I ever notice saying older players are irrelevant are the older players themselves.

I'm really keen to see the DMG and Monster Manual covers now. The 2014 cover, for example, I think works better when looked at within the 3 book set.

I think they knocked it out of the park with that cover. It's a fantastic painting. Is this the first time a PHB shows an adventuring party facing off against a dragon?
