D&D General What is your favorite Token/Miniature in DnD?

From the ones I own I'd have to say the storm giant mini from Wizkids. Just by awesomeness of plopping it down on the table and the players freaking out.

    D&D 5E What's your favorite 5e book cover?

Of the core books the DMG was definitely my favorite cover. Looking at the whole of 5e though Monsters of the Multiverse is definitely my favorite cover. With Tashs's alt coming in second.

D&D General How Was Your Last Session?

Finally got to get back into our game after a brief hiatus due to my dad getting sick. So we finished up the first two levels of Zorzulas Rest in the Shattard Obelisk game. Everyone hit 5th level and are really starting to get powerful. We left off waiting to go see the BBEG of the dungeon...

D&D General Less is More: Why You Can't Get What You Want in D&D

That is a very interesting article. Thanks for pointing me to it! Sounds like the demise was a combination of a lot of issues.

D&D General Less is More: Why You Can't Get What You Want in D&D

I feel like 5e has a ton of lore. More lore than I could easily digest in detail, and way more lore than my players will ever learn or care about. It's in my opinion the lore is fine. I can appreciate that it might not be enough for some (or even most?). To touch on 2e for a bit. This is a...

D&D 5E Vecna: Eve of Ruin Coming May 21st!

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Haven't had a chance to dig into it yet.

    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

That's beautiful! So am I going crazy or did they not say they wouldn't do alt covers due to the massive print run? Did I miss this being addressed? I'm not complaining just wasn't expecting it.

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

Unless they changed it in from the UA it is now one of the weapon properties.

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

We always played without feats. As a DM I always gave the option but no one wanted to worry with them. From what little I know of 5e24, feats being somewhat mandatory is one of the two things I didn't like. That and damage on a miss.

D&D 5E Long time players and 5e’s success

Didn't read the entire thread but just wanted to add my stats for whats worth. I'm 42 and I have bought nearly (didn't buy Ravinca, Acquisition Inc, Strixhaven, and Book of Many Things(only because BAM doesn't have it)) every book that's been published. I also bought a good bit of the dice sets...

D&D (2024) How Does Greyhawk Fit In To The New Edition?

I'm kind of right there with you. I got started in late 2e era and I was all about the Forgotten Realms. Once I figured out there was a lot settings for D&D I wanted to learn about the earliest ones.

D&D (2024) Greyhawk Confirmed. Tell Me Why.

Oh yeah, no doubt. I'm not very familiar with Mystara but you are right, it definitely has some problematic content.

D&D (2024) How Does Greyhawk Fit In To The New Edition?

This makes me wonder what the new (if they make a new one, I'm sure they will) starter set setting will be? Do yall think it will pick up from where the new DMG left off? Or do yall think they will safely set it on the Sword Coast? The possibilities! It will definitely be an exciting year(and...
