Coom leads you all out of the tavern, holding the door and encouraging the group along. "Come along, come alooonngg. Step lively, now." Once you're all out, he stands back and surveys the assembled group. "Warms my heart, yeeeees, yeees, warms m' heart." He makes to wipe away an actual tear. "So, my good people, where would you like to staaart?"

Rillian carefully extracts one of the javelins strapped to his pack, reshoulders the pack, and then leans against the javelin.

"Well um, Mr. Cooms, sir, maybe you oughta give us a few more details? Or ifn you dont have any, maybe you could take us to someone that's seen these, um, hooly-gans? What do you guys think?" Rillian turns to the others.

"Yes, well we'd like to get this taken care of. Best to pull out the roots, as they say. We need to see if these hooligans are organized somehow, and if so, then strike at the heart of the matter." Iggy checks his spell component pouch, his quiver of bolts, and pats his crossbow lightly. "Yes, I reckon I'm ready to go." he mutters.

as the group exits the Red Dragon, they are joined by Kirin and Cirus, trotting around the corner from the back exit for boarders. Both have added equiptment, Kirin wearing armor now, with a sickle and two odd bags at her belt, and looking quite a bit more like an adventurer instead of a vacationing scholar, and Cirus with a well made harness which Kirin is comfortable ensconsed in. For any of the larger races who have never seen a proper Rider before, they might be suprized to see that Cirus's gear is not a pony saddle in miniature, but a light affair of straps and comfortable handles worn high up on his shoulders. He has no bit or reins, but the very process of putting on his 'working clothes' seems to have settled him down a bit.

Coming up to Coom (who she is now almost at eye level with) Kirin comments "I didn't know how far we'd be going, but I didn't want to slow you down... and Cirus eats the furniture legs if I leave him alone too long." She grins at the thought of Joe's reaction to such a thing and waits for Coom to give any further details of their mission.

ooc: Cirus is a light riding dog, and is to the standard entry as a light horse is to a warhorse - ie, no combat applications. Also, do you want to know spells prepared for the casters now?

"Where are they, let me at them," cries Grogg, Son of Grogg in a fit of rage, "I am ready, I will kill, I, oh, what a cute doggy, here doggy doggy," he said holding out his hand for Cirus to smell.

:) OOC, Grogg is a bit simple, so I will role-play him as such, try not to take it to heart if he does something for comic relief. It would be nice to know what spells they have now. Also, this is my first PBP, so if I do something I shouldn't, let me know.

OOC, I am heading to bed, I have all the gear I need, ready when you guys are. This guy is a tank, I don't have much in the way of skill points for him, so other than some non skill rolling out side of combat in the way of role-playing, I don't have much imput, yet. In other words, if you are waiting for everyone to say ready to leave, I am ready to leave.:)

"Well, there isn't much to teelll," says Coom, and begins walking. "If you'll just follow me... now, these young troublemakers occupy a certain lo-cal-it-ty, so I figure I can take you theeere and introduce you to some of those troubled by recent developments." As he walks you through the town (and those with local knowledge will notice that he's leading you towards the poorer portions of it, which only makes sense) he adds a few words "Their crimes have mostly been of the petty variety. They have harassed, vandalized, larcenized, and generally made things unpleasant all aroouund. The tend to target the diiispossesed such as m'self, makin' a sport of us, yeees." He shakes his head. "I have had the good foortuune to escape their attentions myself thus far, but I know well enough who hasn't."

"Um, Mr. Coom, ah, you said before that these hooly-gans had somehow "distracted" the guard, possibly with bribes...are the guard likely to stay out while we are there...can we "arrest" these bad guys and turn them over...or what exactly should we do with them, it doesn't really sound like they deserve permanent types of punishment."
