I didn't see a god/goddess that fit this function in the Enworldian pantheon, so I built one. I will admit I hope to use some of this in an adventure I am working on, but I wanted to run it by the judges first.
-----------
Halina, Goddess of Fertility
The Great Mother, The Blessed Provider

Enworldian Greater Deity
Symbol: A baby lying in a basket of wheat
Home Plane: The Blessed Fields of Elysium
Alignment: Neutral Good
Portfolio: Fertility in nature and crops, Conception, Birth.
Worshippers: Farmers, Conceiving couples, midwives
Cleric Alignments: N, LG, NG, CG
Domains: Good, Healing, Plant, Sun
Favored Weapon: Sickle

Halina is worshiped by farmers, who believe she blesses their crop with a healthy growth each year. She is also worshiped by pregnant and conceiving couples, and midwives. Halina is believed to appear as a farmer, sometimes pregnant, usually carrying wheat or some other crop.

Followers of Halina teach that the creation of life in any form is precious and something to be celebrated. They teach that all things have their place in life, as the life and eventual death of many plants leads to a longer healthy life in other creatures. While not pacifists, followers of Halina strongly oppose the unnecessary killing of any creature. They often make the most out of animals used for food, making sure no part goes to waste, and no more are killed than necessary.

Halina’s worshipers often pray for her blessings before planting a crop by burning one seed of each crop planted, and throw a celebratory festival after the harvest (One of the most well known festivals is held at the town of Covington, a town about 7 days south west of Orussus just off the river Grellgo). Couples and midwives will often light a white candle in the name of Halina.

Some legends post Halina being the mother to both Verdante and Ulura, with each god taking some small part of Halina's domain from their mother's teachings.

At first, I was wondering about the relevance of the sun domain. Then I realized birth=life=positive energy. You might want to put that in the portfolio (the birth part, that is) and perhaps expound upon it.
Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

Hanging in there. Better than the alternative.
We don't have a god like this? I wonder what I'm thinking of. I like it, though!

I had thought of the Sun being more crop nurturing, but I like your aspect of it too, so I'll put it in.

Protection was the only one I was iffy on, something like comunity would be nice, but that's not OGL I think (It's in Eberron). Protection works to though, since part of keeping good crops or healthy children is protecting them from harm.

I wasn't sure what type of god (Demi, Lesser, Intermediate, probably not greater) to make her, which is why I left it blank. We can hash that out easily enough, but she does have a place in the pantheon.

Closest I could find to what I was looking for was Geoth for hospitality and celebration, or Verdante for nature and natural cycles, but fertility is offen quite seperate, and often one of the higher up gods in a pantheon. Supprisingly, there is no god/goddess like this in the PHB, but look at other RW pantheons and you'll find them out there, and fertility covers all aspects of it, in plants, as well as in people.

We do have Verdante, but I think there's room for both of them in our pantheon -- Verdante is responsible for the wilds, and Halina for cultivated land. It might be interesting to fllesh out Halina's relationships to both Verdante and Ulura. Generally when two deities have somewhat related portfolios, I'd imagine that either they have some sort of collaborative relationship (possibly even a family bond), or else a rivalry. Whichever way it goes with Halina, I'm on board with her.

BTW, if Covington is "7 days SW of Orussus", what mode of transportation and speed does that assume?

Yes, probably a good idea. I didn't see a lot of god interaction with some of the dieties, but probably not a bad idea. I would guess they'd be sisters, or perhaps Verdante might even be the daughter (Often the fertility goddes was a mother of some of the pantheon). I don't know if you have a pantheon father figure yet that might be Halina's husband.

I thought of fleshing out a little bit about temples/shrines too (She probably has small shrines in most farming towns, but not many full blown temples), but I didn't see that with many of the pantheon either. Obviously, that's a place that could be expanded.

7 days via standard caravan travel allong the roads. It's probably less if you cut through the wilderness.

Glad for the support.

I added 2 nicknames, the potential relationship to 2 other gods, and some info on the teaching of her followers.

Edit: Note, I did not prof any of it, so mind any spelling mistakes. I'll fix them later.

I was thinking greater. The Pantheon also needs a king god, but having Halina as a mother goddess of the Pantheon works, and wife of a paternal/creation god (I think I'll look into making one later).
