(OOC: Zaeryl was correct about the room's original denizens--wasting time on saving the prisoners and getting into an additional fight was not in his cold passionless calculations. Also, if Giant Ironwolf had lasted longer, it might have gone quite differently--all in all, Zaeryl wasn't sure that the melee types could handle the second incursion, but he figured it was worth it to take the gamble and see if they could, since that at least gave them a chance to continue onward.

On a random meta note--the enemy is not going to wait for you to heal and come. I have a listing, with times, of what the enemy needs to do and when each thing will be done if the heroes don't interrupt--hence the big explosion of evil energy you guys saw the other day, that was one of those things. I'll feel bad about it, but if you guys wait, say, a week, and my listing says that the enemy is long gone by then, that's how it'll have to end. The worst thing if that happens will be the treasure situation, since you did still get a lot of XP.)

(OOC: Ironwolf healed twice for 7 each)

"As mentioned--Regression. Executions. Dead villagers," Zaeryl repeats flatly to remind Eternity of how he just mentioned this.

(ooc: why is Ironwolf at only 8/22. we rested and regained full pp and he has spent 7 on healing correct?)

ooc: He cast it twice, 7 pp each, 14 pp total. I suppose we can say he hasn't cast the second one yet, maybe the healers have more power available than I'm guessing. That'd leave Ironwolf (for the time being) at 15 pp and 33 damage of 68 hp.

ooc2: I fully expect the enemy to take advantage of our delay, all I'm saying is we need to do the healing and then see if we are well enough to attack again. If after blowing spells, the party is still highly wounded and the healers are almost out of power, we may not be able to go on. Start healing guys, let's find out!

(@OOC2: Agreed. It's a shame Michael took that last level in Ranger--3rd level Cleric spells are fantastic heals and buffs. And then Almayce's Theurge thing prevents that as well. Speaking of, I'll give time XP, so that will be another level for a few of you guys. Shoot, I forgot to do it last night--lemme go check the date since I did it last)

Almayce first heals himself so that he has enough strength to get up (Convert Protection From Evil and Magic Weapon for 9 and 6 points, Almayce is at 15 I think), then follows up with two healing spells for Ironwolf (Bull's Strength and Sound Burst for 11 and 16 points of healing).

"So what's this guess of yours?", Almayce asks Zaeryl.

OOC: Rolls here. Almayce has one CLW and cantrips left for healing.

(OOC: Looks like 1 Month of Time XP, with two weeks into the next month. I may forget about that, so I'll just give you guys 1.5 Months worth. I believe everyone is either level 6 or 7. Thus, they will receive either 450 or 525 from time XP. That should be around the amount some people need who were close, maybe?)

ooc: Awesome! Thanks. That'll put Ironwolf at 6 damage and 15 pp. He's ready to go, who else needs healing? (I intentionally only skimmed the bit where Ironwolf was unconcious.)

(OOC: Both Hulgyr and Michael are similarly low as well. Michael may be able to help deal. We should probably save that last 16 of Almayce's healing and keep it floating FTM in case it needs to be used elsewhere in exchange for Ironwolf's second Body Adjustment)

(OOC2: Okay, if you only skimmed, here's the basics--it was a rather odd fight. Much of the action involved Hulgyr having lucky socks and taking very very low damage considering his relatively bad AC, Michael getting criticals and doing tons of Damage, Hulgyr cleaving around, and Zaeryl blocking the Afflicted, taking Total Defense, and tanking to protect Eternity and Almayce. Then things got chaotic and everyone fell except lucky-socks Hulgyr and Zaeryl, who killed them. Then Hulgyr's free Rage ended so he dropped too)

ooc: Ouch! So just about everyone had damage greater than their former maximum hp. That'll make it tough to heal everyone up and still be ready to go. Didn't Eternity have a trick where she used vigor and then the damage sharing thing? We'll need her to help out, too, I expect.
