"See," the shifter says, "wasn't long at all," he says referencing the red dragon skull. Surely adventurers like that would be suitable companions.

Cliff buys a drink for the genasi and nods at the warforged. "I bet that thing put up a fight. I'm Cliff."

Jarel-karn nods at Soldier "That's fit pretty well in here." he stares a moment at the dragon head and he then takes a sip of his ale. "I am aware that Montroya won't come back. He is not far, he is watching over Rinch. We killed him twice, so I understand he fears he can come back. I told him to warn me if he ever spot that bastard again."

He then overhear Simpletown. He takes his ale and walk over that table. "Mister Simpleton, please, give me more deatil, I might be interested by your work."

"Oh yes, sure my lord. W-What can I tell you to begin with? Hm... Well, lets start from this point: Mr Gimo Tine, Ms Linda's husband works in the clay pits, filling buckets of clay to send to the potteries in Dauton, I'm his boss, Isaias Simpletown. Gimo's daily routine goes from getting up around 6 in the morn, and walking to work about 3 kilometers to work.
At my stablishment, he takes a shovel and rides the donkey that pulls the wagon which has other workers and hundreds of buckets to the clay pits outside the city. Once there, the men start collecting the clay in the buckets, get everything up, and return to the establishment to pack and prepare the clay for the potteries. They do that around 3 times a day.

But last morning was different..." he takes his straw hat again and handle it intensively, as remembering those moments brought the same eelings over and over again. "He didn't return from his deliveries. He went missing, but came back at the end of the day, completely oblivious of the fact that he disappeared for 6 hours! At work we interrogated him as to what happened, but he only said he didn't remember, and then, the town guard came with a full squadron, looking for Mr Gimo, under the charges of murder and public disturbs! Gimo! He couldn't have done anything like that.
The guards took him to trial, and Mr Tine was identified by several witnesses as a sadistic and brutal assassin. Gimo only grabbed his straw hat as one by one the witnesses pointed fingers at him and claimed he was a murderer. We told those men that Gimo was not capable of killing not even a fly! But they wont listen.

We beg you good sirs, please help us. The judge said that if we found evidence of Gimo's innocence, that he will reconsider and judge him again. Linda can't pay you, but I have here all my savings of years of work, and I'm ready to spend them if this will serve justice and my friend Gimo, as I have already told to this fair gentlemen" the old man points to Grakk and the warlock who has still to say something.

"What do you think of that, Soldier?" asks Jarel-karn to the Warforged. "I might even forfeit to be paid if we find proof of innocence, but I won't implicate the others working on that case in such deal."

Bell's eyes open wide as the Simpleton starts relaying the details. She quickly pulls out her bag and swaps the book for her journal taking down the details. A mystery. . . with mind control. . . . again! I've found a story arc! She squeals mentally as she brings her notes up to her chest in a tight hug. And the elemental is interested! I must sign on quickly.

Bell springs to her feet, almost tripping and pushes through the crowd to get to the man, extending her hand. "Bell Jabson, Arcane Linguist and local expert on aberrant domination. We saw a strain of this recently on the island of Haurton. That resulted in supernatural violence, very bad stuff. Sounds like your man's stable so far. That's good. . ." She blows a stray bit of hair out of her face, adjusts her spectacles then sits on the floor going back to her notes. Anyone looking over may notice she seems to be changing languages in her writing at random. Allarain here, then draconic, then tsugo and more.

"Uhmmm, what?, yes yes, I agree with you, Jarel. A just deed is a reward aswell" the warforged answers & interrupts his own exaggerated storytelling about how the dragon was slayed, he is telling to the shifter and some patrons that has gathered to hear it, then he adds to the odd girl, "Sorry!"

Simpletown and Ms Tine seem relieved as many capable people assemble around him. Isaias shakes Bell hand with a smile, and looks quizzically as she sits down on the floor and starts writing strange things on what the man thinks is a journal. At the warforged's statement Ms Linda seems also relieved, she blinks quickly and drys her tears.

"Just as well," says Yimayngurr, still cracking and slurping down his oysters, "Rather finish my oysters than crawl down some smelly hole again and have ta eat saltfish for couple a' weeks. Hard ta get a decent meal down there with all a them zombies and flying jellyfish, eh Eithal?" he says giving the giantess a friendly nudge with his elbow.
